Log-Files

The personal data in log files are processed on the basis of Art.6 Para.1 lit.f DSGVO. This permits the processing of personal data within the scope of the "legitimate interest" of the person responsible, unless the fundamental rights, fundamental freedoms or interests of the person responsible outweigh the failure to process the data. Our legitimate interest lies in the ease of administration and the possibility of detecting and prosecuting hacking. You can object to this data processing at any time if there are reasons which exist in your particular situation and which speak against data processing. To do so, simply send an e-mail to datenschutz@nrw-donumvitae.de.

Cookies

When you use our site, cookies are stored on your end device. Cookies are tiny text files that are stored on computers. Cookies contain information about user behaviour and are used to transmit passwords for websites with protected areas. You have the option of deactivating this function within your web browser. In this case it is possible that not all functions of our website can be used.

External contents

On the website sexundrecht.de service functions of external providers are used. When you access the relevant pages, cookies may be set and your IP address transferred to the external provider. The purpose and scope of the data collection by the external providers and the further processing and use of the data there can be found in the respective data protection declarations of the providers.

External links

For your optimal information, you will find links on our pages that refer to pages of third parties. As far as this is not obviously recognizable, we point out that this is an external link. The present data protection declaration does not extend to these other providers. When you leave our website, we recommend that you first read the data protection policy of the other website carefully.

What options do you have with regard to the storage or further use of your data?

You can demand information from us about the stored data and you have the right to correct incorrect data, to restrict processing and to delete data, provided that this does not conflict with any obligation to retain data. There is no right to deletion if further processing is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims. With regard to the personal data concerning you which you have provided to us, for example in an input mask or a contact form, on the basis of your consent or for the execution of a contract existing between us, you have a right to data transferability in a structured, common and machine-readable format.

Insofar as the processing of your data is based on consent (legal basis Art. 6 (1) 1 a) DS-GVO), you have the right to revoke your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation. Legal grounds for revocation of consent are not affected.

You have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority, such as the State Commissioner for Data Protection responsible for us.

Social networks - use of social media plug-ins

Social networks offer excellent opportunities for communication and networking. Therefore, we have decided to establish our own presences on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube. We would be pleased if you could also find out about our work there.

The terms of use of these services and their operators are not under our control. For our part, we will always handle your data with care, but we do not accept any liability for the behaviour of the operators or third parties.

We currently use Facebook and Instagram as social media plug-ins. Plug-ins are additional modules that enhance our website. We use the so-called two-click solution. This means that when you visit our site, no personal data is initially passed on to the providers of the plug-ins. You can recognise the provider of the plug-in by the respective logo. You therefore have the option of communicating directly with the provider of the plug-in via the button. Only when you click on the marked field and thereby activate it, does the plug-in provider receive the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online offer. The date and time of accessing our website, the amount of data transferred, the website from which the request came, browser type, browser settings and IP address are transmitted. In the case of Facebook, according to the respective providers in Germany, the IP address is anonymised immediately after collection. By activating the plug-in, your personal data is transmitted to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (in the case of US providers, in the USA). Since the plug-in provider collects the data in particular via cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies via your browser's security settings before clicking on the logo.

User data in the context of the use of social networks and platforms can be processed for market research and advertising purposes. User profiles can be created from the behaviour of users and used for advertising and market research. For these purposes, cookies are often placed on users' computers to record their usage behaviour and interests. Please remember that we have no influence on the data collected and the data processing procedures, nor do we know the full extent of the data collection, the purposes of the processing or the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the collected data by the plug-in provider.

You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact the respective plug-in provider to exercise this right. Via the plug-ins, we offer you the opportunity to interact with the social networks and other users and to inform yourself about us, our offer and our mission. The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. e, para. 3 p. 1 DSGVO in conjunction with. § 4 LDSG.

Further information on the purpose and scope of the data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider can be found in the data protection information of these providers. There you will also find further information on your rights and setting options to protect your privacy.

Detailed information about data processing in social networks or on platforms is provided by the respective providers. This regularly includes information about the possibility to object to certain data processing procedures, so-called opt-out.
